This plant is perhaps the most unusual looking plant that we sell, and is one of the best foliage plants that thrives in many Irish gardens. Long serrated evergreen leaves hang sharply downwards. New shoots have a jelly-like substance that looks like thick brown frogspawn. As the plant matures it looses its lower leaves and when it reaches maturity it has a clear, solid stem much like a flagpole with a completely round head at least 2 metres above ground level. Phenomenal wind and salt hardiness, this plant is as happy in a container as in the ground. Well-drained soil. 3 litre container, Irish-grown plants 60-90 cms tall.

Please note, plants displayed on this website are not all available year-round, and include plants that may or may not be in stock. Size and price is indicative but is subject to change. Please contact us via email to check availability.
