An ancestor of the domestic apple, the wild crabapple is a good choice for an edible hedgerow or garden boundary. Wild crabapples can grow to 8 or 9 metres but can also be clipped within a hedge. Very pretty creamy white to pink  flowers are borne in spring and late summer. The small fruit in late summer is popular with birds and can also be used in jellies and jams. Best if mixed with other species such as Hawthorn, Dog rose and Holly. Suitable for most soil types and conditions except boggy soil.

  • Bare root plants with well-developed root system .
  • 60-90 cms tall.
