Narcissus poeticus var. recurvus

'Pheasant's Eye' daffodil

Price: €4.95

Known as 'The Poet's Narcissus': cultivated bulbs from West Cork. The 'Pheasant's Eye' daffodil is tall, slender, nodding and cheery. With clear white outer petals and a bright centre, it is also fragrant. An old variety, it associates well with other bulbs and naturalises well. Daffodils should be planted in soil that is moist in the winter but not water-logged all year long. Be sure not to mow down the foliage until it has withered naturally. Flowers March - April.
