Dunboyne and Dundrum garden centres are OPEN

Just to clarify, our garden centres in Airfield Estate, Dundrum, Co Dublin and at Avoca, Dunboyne, Co Meath are both open. There is ambiguity around whether or not garden centres should be open. Our interpretation of the legistlation was that they should be closed. However, pretty much every other garden centre interpreted things differently, and have remained open throughout this period of 'Level 5' lockdown. This is why we have reopened our Dunboyne and Airfield shops..... they are both very spacious and open to the elements. Clare Street (Dublin 2) is pretty much an interior / interior plant shop, so we don't see how we can open it. Monkstown is a fully functioning garden centre, just like other local garden centres such as Windyridge, Avoca in Kilmacanogue or even Woodies for that matter, all of whom have traded constantly throughout the lockdown. However, we feel that Monkstown's location on a busy street, its tightly packed interior and its proximity to so many coffee shops means that it will be impossible to operate safely, when ridding ourselves of this virus is the priority. In the meantime, we run a fast and efficient online garden and plant delivery service, delivering everything from garden furniture, pots, compost, tools and of course PLANTS.
