Amelanchier 'Obelisk'

A great tree for the smaller garden or courtyard where space is limited. Amelanchiers are small to medium-sized deciduous trees, with small white flowers in spring, red berries in late summer and good autumn colour in autumn. Berries are attractive and tasty for birds. Grows in most soil types and most conditions, for full sun to semi-shade. The variety 'Obelisk' is a narrow, upright variety that fits into a more confined space than most other trees. Grows to a height of 4-6 metres, columnar in shape with a width of 1 to 1.5 metres.
