Caroline Canning, Amaryllis

Caroline Canning is a Dublin artist whose work encompasses still life, domestic scenes and landscapes. She is well known for her illustrated notebooks, with almost daily drawings featuring her daily life. These form a major part of her output and her exhibitions. In this painting she captures the bright red flowers of an Amaryllis in bloom on a windowsill.
