Amelanchier laevis 'R.J. Hilton'/ Snowy mespilus
A great tree for the smaller garden or courtyard where space is limited. Amelanchiers are small to medium-sized deciduous trees, with small white flowers in spring opening from pink buds and blue-black berries in late summer. The leaves emerge a dark coppery colour, turning green in summer and later turning yellow and orange in autumn. Berries are attractive and tasty for birds. Grows in most soil types and most conditions, for full sun to semi-shade.
Irish-grown plants in 12 litre pot, 175-200cm in height.
Plants are also generally available in our Monkstown shop. Because of its size and weight, this plant can only be delivered in County Dublin.
