Ed Miliano, Spring Blackbird

The 'Spring' edition of Ed Miliano's 'Blackbird' series. The blackbird rests amongst twigs with vibrant 'berries' made of painted paper dots. Of the 15 editions, each is unique. The bird's eye is made from gold leaf, whilst the dots are hand painted in shades of pink, cerise and red, some of them printed with text or patterns.

Ed Miliano is New York born and now lives and works in North Couty Dublin. He has exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Oliver Sears Gallery, Graphic Studio and numerous other galleries.

26 x 34, excluding frame. Float mounted and framed with archival materials, UV protecting and low reflection glass. Silkscreen mokuhanga with collage and gold leaf. Edition 11 of 15. Signed and dated bottom right (2022).
