Monstera pinnatipartita is a stunning indoor plant that becomes even more striking with age. This relative of the Swiss Cheese plant (Monstera deliciosa) also develops holes and splits in its leaves, but as it matures, these eye-catching characteristics will go all the way into the mid-rib of the plant.
Light: This plant enjoys bright-indirect light, so is best suited to sit in an east-facing window, but can be placed in a room with either west or south-facing, but not sitting in the window where it will be exposed to direct rays of the sun.
Water: Allow the top half of the potting mix to dry out between waterings, fertilise every other week during the growing season.
Air: Prefers warmer air (18-29ºC) and higher humidity, so mist the foliage between waterings, sit the plant on a tray of watered pebbles or use a humidifier.
When repotting, use a well-draining houseplant potting mix and add some perlite to increase drainage, if necessary.
Pot size: D19cm x H18cm Plant size: approximately W60cm x H60cm
