Our native bluebell, delicately perfumed and beautiful in bloom in woodlands and forests in late spring. Bulbs are grown and cultivated in Ireland. Bluebells are the perfect native wildflower for under trees or in grass in somewhat shady locations, where they soon spread to form an almost solid mass. They have small delicate flowers, much finer than the Spanish bluebell. Foliage should be left until fully wilted before cutting down. Plant approx 2cm below soil level with the pointed part uppermost. Plant in natural clumps rather than in an organised pattern.
Our extensive selection of flower bulbs are in our Monkstown shop during the months of September & October.
