Terence Attridge Williams, Cottages at Guileen (1948)
Couldn't load pickup availability
Charming traditional Irish thatched cottages, painted in the late 1940s. Guileen is a small village on the East Cork coast. Some of these traditional cottages are still in existence, though maybe no longer thatched. Terence Attridge Williams was predominantly a landscape and still life painter, and a skillful one at. His work comes up from time to time, and this is an exquisite little painting.
Oil on board. 19cm x 30cm excluding frame and mount. In the original frame but re-mounted on acid-free archival board and mount
