Corten water bowl / planter / fire bowl (80cm wide x 41cm deep)

Deeper than our standard water bowl, these corten bowls can be used as stylish planters, as a water bowl or as a fire bowl. There is a drainage hole in the base, and it is also supplied with a sturdy rubber stopper if you should use it as a water bowl. Corten steel is a hard, durable material that is also known as weathering steel for its strength and durability. The rust patina develops over several months, so this water bowl is not ideally suited as a bird bath in the short term. A tip to keep the water clean is to place a shallow layer of small cobbles in the base with aqualtic plants. The rust takes at least one year to develop and settle, and can be sealed with 'Owatrol' sealant once the desired patina level has been achieved.
