'Sluggo' pellets are the 'new generation' of organically based slug pellets that are safe for other garden creatures such as birds, hedgehogs, earthworms and family pets. Their active ingredient is ferric phosphate (iron) which breaks down without toxins into the soil. Scatter thinly around the base of plants. They are most effective if scattered in the early evening.
