Our shop at 16 Clare Street, Dublin 2, will be closed on Thursday 12 November. It may also be closed for some or all of the day on Wednesday 11th, and possibly also on Friday 13th November. This is as a result of security measures being implemented surrounding the summit of EU ministers at Government Buildings around the corner on Merrion Square and Kildare Street. Access to this part of Dublin will be limited during this period.
For anyone curious, we are one of the closest retail premises, if not the closest retail premises, to Leinster House on Merrion Square. We will use this day of closure - or days - for a much-needed break as we head into the Christmas rush. The Gardaí have been very good about keeping us informed, and perhaps this is the price we need to pay for being in such a central location in Dublin. We'll be back up and running by Saturday morning at the latest!
