It's not every day that we get such a diverse and alluring selection of trees, shrubs, ferns and perennials delivered to our Monkstown shop. But today we received a long-awaited selection of unusual and beautiful plants, brimming with health and ready for the next chapter of their lives.
The delivery included some hard-to-find plants that we really love, such as Romneya coulteri (California tree poppy) three species of Acacia, three species of Cyathea, Daphne odora (in bloom), some extremely beautiful Camellias and Magnolias, mainly in bloom or bud, an unusual cultivar of our native strawberry tree, Arbutus unedo 'Quercifolia'. Also included is Begonia luxurians, a dramatic, large-growing Begonia up to 2 metres or more and some beautiful specimens of Rhododendron 'Fragrantissimum'. Plus many more, listed below.
