Alicia Boyle is a somewhat overlooked Irish artist. She produced paintings over many decades and exhibited widely in her lifetime. She exhibited regularly in London in the 1950s, as well as with the Royal Academy in London, at the Irish Exhibition of Living Art in the 1950s. She exhibited regularly with the Society of British Artists, of which she was elected a member in 1958. Her work is now in numerous collections, including the National Gallery of Ireland, the Crawford Art Gallery, the Ulster Museum, as well as many institutions in the UK.
