Anonymous artist, Glendalough Lake

Watercolour depicting a lakeshore with rowing boats. Pines and larches make their way to near the water's edge. A small bridge can be seen in the background. This appears to be Glendalough (upper) lake in Co Wicklow. Based on the style and the frame, this piece dates from teh early decades of the twentieth century.

Watercolour on paper. 22 x 29cm. Unsigned. Apollo Gallery on reverse staing aritst's name as Edith Synge. Unusual Arts & Crafts style frame, somewhat chipped.
