Early 20th century drawing of what appears to be San Gimignano, Tuscany, Italy. A couple of men loiter on the steps and a horse and cart turn a corner on the road at the top. Because of the angle, as seen from below, the towers appear to splay outwards.
Drawing, charcoal and pen and ink, possibly a monotype or lithograph. Reframed with UV protective, low-reflection glass and acid-free mount and backing board. Image dimensions, approx 40cm wide x 55cm high.
