Early 20th century wool and linen embroidery, depicting a west of Ireland landscape. Most likely from the period 1910-1920. Pine trees frame a small cottage by the side of a lake or inlet. Shadows are captured through thread colour and weight. The maker of this piece is unknown, though the design is based upon 'Celtic revival' woolwork designs of this period.
