This etherial landscape is suffused with the blue lightof dusk. Seagulls mill over the sea, fishermen come in with their hauls, smoke wafts from a chimney, a touch of pink tints the sky. Childlike in its activity and detail, it is also a most calming and intruiging. Looming over it all is the blue-grey mass of Croagh Patrick, one of Ireland's most famous and beautiful mountains, situated on the Mayo coast.
