A unusual view of Dublin's famous 'Pigeon House' chimneys, as seen through the busy port, a place of great change and development. Shadowy forms above the russet containers suggest impending taller buildings... or is that just the darkening sky?
Bairbre Duggan is an Irish artist who now lives in Amsterdam. She studied history of art at Trinity College, followed by fine art at Wackers Academie in Amsterdam, where she now teaches painting and drawing. She also regularly leads painting courses in Ireland. She has been selected on a number of occasions for the Royal Hibernian Academy's (R.H.A.) Annual Exhibition.
This is the fourth collection of Bairbre's paintings that we have exhibited at Howbert & Mays in Clare Street.
Oil on card 18cm x 27cm excluding frame. Signed bottom right. Framed with archival mount and backing and UV protective anti-reflective glass.
