Bairbre Duggan, Peony Bud

A delicate Peaony (Peony) bud, set to open up its luxuriant pink petals.

Bairbre Duggan is originally from Dublin, where she studied history of art at Trinity College. She also studied at Wackers Academie in Amsterdam, where she now teaches painting and drawing. She has also been selected on a number of occasions for Royal Hibernian Academy's (R.H.A.) annual exhibition, most recently in 2022 and 2024.

Oil on card. 17cm x 20cm. Framed in UV protecting, non-reflective glass with museum quality acid free mount and backing.
