Distinctive Highland cattle, grazing peacfully in a wild and beatiful Scottish mountain landscape. In the centre, one animal in particular meets the viewer's (and artist's) gaze. Charles W. Oswald was a skilled British landscape and animal painter, who specialised in cattle and other farm animals.
