Conor Gallagher, Landscrape 32

Initially abstract, more landscape on further inspection. Patches of light - reflected sun or maybe city lights - on the horizon, where the sea meets the land across a bay.

Conor Gallagher's work uses a diversity of materials such as paint and fillers. Applied with a pallette knife and then scraped multiple times over successive layers, his pieces suggest landscapes and seascapes without depicting specific places or features. Conor is from Sligo, but works and paints in Dublin's north inner city.
