'On the LIffey' shows a north Dublin Quay (possibly Ormonde,) reflected in the river Liffey. The Dublin quays were at this period entering a phase of rapid decline, with buildings being demolished and left to deteriorate ant an alarming rate. The only building where the shopfront is visible is Linders, Any details on which quay this is would be most welcome!

Pete Hogan is a Dublin artist whose street scenes and architectural drawings have documented Dublin life and architecture for almost four decades. He has sailed around the world and is also an accompished maritime artist.
