DeWit serrated 'Farmers' Dagger' (Item No. 3031)

Similar to the well-known 'Hori Hori' tool from Japan, the 'farmers' dagger' from deWit is an all purpose hand tool for weeding, planting, sowing seeds, burying bulbs, harvesting, opening bags and root-cutting. It functions like a sharp, pointed trowel. Hand forged in Holland from super-strong Swedish steel, this is a hard-wearing tool that should be an essential part of your gardening tool kit.

Blade is sharpened on both sides. One side is serrated for cutting through tough roots and dense weeds, the other straight-edged for slicing, digging, and harvesting. The tool and point are sharp, but in order to balance functionality with safety, not overly so.

This is a dangerous hand tool and will not be sold to nor should it be used by those under 18years of age.
