Ed Miliano, Summer Blackbird

The 'Summer' edition of Ed Miliano's 'Blackbird' series. The blackbird rests amongst twigs with vibrant 'leaves' in shades of gold and green. The bird's eye is made from gold leaf, whilst the leaves are burnished with gold, green and silver, some of them bearing traces of pattern.

Ed Miliano is New York born and now lives and works in North Couty Dublin. He has exhibited at the Royal Hibernian Academy, the Oliver Sears Gallery, Graphic Studio and numerous other galleries.

26 x 34, excluding frame. Float mounted and framed with archival materials, UV protecting and low reflection glass. Silkscreen mokuhanga with collage and gold leaf.  Signed and dated bottom right (2020).
