George W. Morrison (1820-1893), Lough Mask, Connemara

Landscape watercolour of Lough Mask, Connemara from the mid to late nineteenth century. On close inspection, one or two small cottages are nestled into the folds of the mountains. Small clumps of heather in bloom dot the foreground and tall, wild mountains fade into the distance.

Signed botton left. 58.5 x 21.5cm excluding frame and mount. Excellent condition.
