Niwaki mini 'Golden Spade'

Lovely small spade that is lightweight, very strong and really useful. Suitable for planting perennials, grasses and ideal for anyone who likes a smaller spade or who prefers to work on their knees.

Made in Japan by Asaka, who have been manufacturing the 'Elephant' brand for many decades. One of a range of all-steel spades and shovels. The digging parts are strong and sharp, hard yet flexible. This is thanks to the sophisticated heat treatment and tempering that has been developed by Asaka for over 360 years.

This strong, sharp, spade is made for hard work.  Use for everything from tree planting, preparing soil to mixing cement. The steel pipe shaft is welded to the blade and handle, and the sharp pointed blade cuts through soil with ease. A spade for spade-lovers.
