Heavy duty black plastic aquatic pot / mini garden pond

Encourage wildlife into your garden by installing a small garden pond. Water is beneficial for insects, birds, wild animals, and small creatures such as frogs. This heavy duty plastic pond-pot can be left above ground, or dug into the ground for a more natural effect.

To have your pond-water at ground level, simply dig a hole into which you can drop it. Cover the plastic edges, slightly overhanging the rim, with small stones or pieces of slate. Fill with water and place some rocks or loose stones on the surface. Situate somewhere in sun or half shade and plant around it with naturalistic or native plants. Plant some small aquatic plants into the water, which will help to keep the water clean and aerated. During drier spells, top-up with fresh water.
