The Hori-Hori is a traditional Japanese garden tool which translates literally as "dig dig". Used by farmers and foragers for centuries for harvesting root vegetables, mushrooms and edible roots, or for weeding and planting. This had made it the runaway best-selling 'multi-tool for gardeners' of the last few years, and it has been one of our most popular garden tools for the last few years.
We are excited to add this new Japanese-made Hori-Hori to our range. Made by a centuries-old Japanese tool manufacturer, it has a beautifully moulded beech handle and a lightly scooped stainless steel blade that is serrated on one side, with a planting depth guide on the concave side.
Ideal for bulb planting, weeding, thinning seedlings, harvesting vegetables and all around gardening with the soil. The serrated edge is useful for cutting through roots, whilst the sharp tip and scooped shape make it a good alternative to a conventional trowel.
It comes with a tough canvas holder, included in the price. Wash and dry after use.
Do not use it as a crowbar. It is for left-right movements, not for leverage. This is a dangerous tool at must only be used by an adult. By purchasing this tool you agree to being 18 years or older.
