Jock Bevan, Central Bank new buildings on Dame Street from College Green (1970)

Fascinating architectural painting (watercolour on board) depicting the new offices of the Central Bank on Dame Street, Dublin. Signed Jock Bevan and dated 1970 on the rear. This controversial building by Sam Stephenson has since been fundamentally altered. Fantastic period detail in the cars, buses and pedestrians. Framed in a 'mid-century modern' frame, this is a delightful piece of architectural history.
