Margaret Stokes (1915-1996), Connemara Garden

Margaret Stokes was a well-regarded Dublin artist whose life spanned the majority of the 20th century. Known for her works in oil, watercolours and her prints. She was a niece of Mainie Jellet, who twas a teacher and mento to her in her youth. She was an art teacher at Alexandra College and exhibited widely throughout her life.
