Mary A Fitzgerald, Red over two Blues
You have to read into this what you will: the meaning is unclear. Could it signify clouds, rain, a sense of manace? Or maybe there isn't any meaning. Maybe it's an exploration of colour. As she herself says, her subjects are 'never presented in full, and remain open-ended in interpretation.' Mary Fitzgerald is a Dublin artist, a graduate of the National College of Art and Design, as well as a lecturer in the print department there.
