Niwaki original 'Hori Hori' (including canvas holster)

This is the original version of Niwaki's Hori Hori weeding tool. Our customers love them and have given us great feedback over the years. Ideal for bulb planting, fine weeding, thinning seedlings, searching for tap-roots.

Finely crafted in Japan from carbon steel, with a hardwood handle. Known as a 'Hori Hori', it has sharp edges, with the blade running right through the handle for added strength. It can be used for weeding, bulb planting and transplanting. It comes with a tough canvas holder, included in the price. Wash and dry after use, and rub with an oil such as camellia oil from time to time.

Do not use it as a crowbar: carbon steel snaps when under pressure. It is for left-right movements, not for leverage.
