Niwaki 'S-Type Hori Hori' (with or without canvas sheath)

The 'S-Type' Hori-Hori is serrated on one side, giving it an excellent ability to cut roots and plant material. It is slightly longer and more curvaceous than the standard model.

Finely crafted in Japan from carbon steel, with a beech wood handle. It has sharp edges, a slightly scooped profile which is serrated on one side. It can be used for weeding, bulb planting and transplanting. Wash and dry after use, and rub with an oil such as camellia oil from time to time. Do not use it as a crowbar - carbon steel can snap!

Tha canvas sheath (priced €16.00 if purchased on its own) is made to fit the Hori-Hori. Loop on the top fits onto your belt.
