From Belfast, Olive Henry is well known as a painter, but also as a stained glass artist and photographer. She was a founding member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists. She exhibited at the Irish Exhibition of Living Art for several years from 1948, at the Royal Hibernian Academy in Dublin in the early 1940s, as well at the Royal Istitute Galleries and with the Society of Women Artists in London.
