Patric Stevenson (1909-1983) was born in Sussex, but lived for most of his life in Northern Ireland. He trained at the Slade School of Art in  London, and went on to become a teacher and arts administrator. He was President of the Royal Ulster Academy (R.U.A.) and exhibited in Belfast, Dublin and London. Examples of his work can be seen in the Ulster Museum and the Waterford Municipal Art Gallery.

This pen and ink captures the shadows, light and reflections of a quiet pond in Killarney, Co Kerry. Dated 1938.

Signed and dated bottom right. 30cm x 45cm. Framed with archival quality mounting and museum quality UV protecting, non-reflecting glass.
