A grand doorway of one of Dublin's eigtheenth century Georgian houses, with a nun passing by. Once a familiar sight, but now a rarity: a nun in full habit. Drawn by Pete Hogan in the early 1980s, capturing the essence of a time gone by.

Pete Hogan is a Dublin artist whose paintings, etchings and watercolours have documented Dublin life and architecture for almost four decades. He is also an accompished maritime artist and a renowned sailor.
