Pete Hogan, The Deep

One of Pete Hogan's most characterful and intruiging pieces, 'The Deep' is a complicated feat of etching that combines multiple plates, creating a multi-layered 'story'. From top to bottom, different characters and creatures inter-relate. Made in the 1980s and newly framed by us, this is a unique 'Artists's Proof' etching.

Pete Hogan is a Dublin artist whose street scenes and architectural drawings have documented Dublin life and architecture for almost four decades. He has sailed around the world and is also an accomplished maritime artist.
