Ruaidhri Bashford is Wicklow artist, horticulturist and illustrator. Ruaidhri has taught landscape design and worked as an illustrator for some of Ireland's top garden designers. He has also designed and created an award-winning garden in Bloom, and worked for several years for Howbert & Mays. This small painting is of a lively blue wren, a study in colour, perfectly capturing the charm and attitude of this small bird.
