Sarah Spackman, Landscape near Cleggan
Landscape with cottages near Cleggan, Connemara, Co Galway. Fields, wind-blown trees, a hint of a dry stone wall and perhaps the gables of an abandoned cottage in the distance. Typical west of Ireland palette of ochres, greens and greys. Sarah Spackman is a figurative artist best known for her still life oil paintings and landscapes. A member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), her work is in many private collections as well as in corporate collections including Allied Irish Bank's Contemporary Art Collection.
