Sarah Spackman RBA, Farmhouse at Emlough
Sarah Spackman is a British artist best known for her still life oil paintings and landscapes. A member of the Royal Society of British Artists (RBA), she is based in Oxford and exhibits regularly in the UK. Her work is highly collected in the UK and in Ireland. This painting is from a 1997 exhibition in the Solomon Gallery, Dublin. Landscape scene showing a cluster of farmhouses in Emlough, near Cleggan, Connemara, Co Galway. Nestled into the folds of the land, the colours of the houses and outbuildings blend with the colours of the fields and sky.
