Sir Gerald Festus Kelly was a British painter, best known for his society portaits. He was president of the Royal Academy 1949-1954 and was the preferred painter of the British royal family.
This painting shows two trees in a village square, most likely in North Africa or near the Mediterranean coast.
Oil on board, 42 x 32cm. Signed indistinctly bottom right along with artist's stamp "G.Kelly"
