Acacia baileyana 'Purpurea' / Mimosa / Purple wattle tree

A small, unusual tree that is prized for its purple-tinged, delicate fern-like foliage. It produces small, pale yellow, fluffy flowers in March and April. Best planted in a sheltered location, somewhere sunny, well-drained and preferably in a mild area without severe frosts. Around Dublin, trees grow 3-4 metres in height. Acacia trees grow fast, and can blow over in strong winds, so keep the top trimmed and relatively dense while the trunk matures. Suitable for a small shelterd garden.

• We cannot deliver on specified days. If nobody is home the delivery will be left in a safe place.
