Acacia longifolia / Golden wattle / Mimosa

A small, fast-growing evergreen tree. Acacia longifolia grows well in the Dublin area where temperaturess do not go a long way below freezing. Its long thin leaves are something like a willow, but evergreen. It has fluffy yellow flowers in spring. Flowers are attractive to bees and pollinating insects. Grows well in coastal gardens, preferring well-drained soil. Grows to a height of 4-6 metres, a spread of 2.5-4 metres, making it a useful screening plant for medium-sized gardens.

As these trees grow fast we recommend that they be cut back after 2-3 years to encourage a sturdier trunk and root system. Young plants are 90-1200cm in height in a 2 litre container.

• Delivery charge is €20.00 per order, irrespective of the number of plants ordered.
• Plants are delivered by van to ensure thay arrive in perfect condition.
  
• We cannot deliver on specified days. If nobody is home the delivery will be left in a safe place.
• We will notify you by phone, text or email prior to your delivery.
• Please allow up to or over one week for delivery.
