Anonymous, Village Street (Late 19th / Early 20th Century)

We may not know who painted this village street, but we love it nonetheless. A figure peers out the door, indistinctly on the right, looking up the empty street. Balconies, windows, chimneys and steps make up the landscape of this anonymous work. Most likely from the later years of the 19th Century or the early years of the 20th Century. To us it looks like a village in Northern France.
