Chicory / Endive seeds 'Mechelse Middlevroeg'

Chicory / Belgian endive seeds. Usually eaten raw but sometimes baked or boiled. Very distinctive bitter flavour and crunchy texture. Two-stage growing process : sow April to July. Harvest the entire plant, including roots, October to December. Bury the roots in well-drained trench and force new foliage in straw. 8g. Italian seeds. Sow before June 2025.
