Use coco coir as a base for your homemade compost mixes. Mixed with perlite it makes a good base for propagation and cuttings. It's an ecological alternative to peat, with good water retention without waterlogging, and good aerating qualities. Made from a waste product of the food industry that, unlike peat, does not emit CO2 in its production. It is ready to use. 3 litre ziplock bags.
