Corten steel planting bed, circular 100cm diameter

Fast, easy and stylish raised bed made from corten steel. Situate on most surfaces and fill with compost or your chosen planting mixture. Ideal for a specimen tree or large shrub. Excellent for spaces such as internal courtyards where access to sufficient growing space is difficult. Because there is no base, the roots of trees and shrubs will be able to access the wider soil and will thrive more readily than if they are contained entirely in a pot. Made from 2mm corten steel. Will be delivered without, or with minimal rust. Rust will take 5-6 months to develop.

Dimensions: 100cm wide x 40cm high. Top edge 50mm wide x 25mm fold-over. Weight 26kgs.  Other size and shapes availableto order.

• Fill the bottom of the planter with a layer approx 10cm deep of 25-35mm drainage pebble covered by a permeable membrane.
  
• Use the correct growing medium for your chosen plant/s
• Do not use of paved surfaces as the rusting process could cause staining
• The rusting process can be over-accellerated if used adjacent to the sea and could shorten the life of the planters.
